Often angry about life and people, but overall kind to those who are at least trying

Survived killing an Archdemon, but the official story with the wardens was it was a warden who didn't survive and Ferelden refused to acknowledge that and decided to make an elf hero larger than life instead

WEAPON fang

A curved dagger that once belonged to Devyn's mother. The dagger is much older than he realizes, dating back to at least The Exalted March with the full name "Fang of Fen'Harel".

WEAPON dagger

His second dagger is nothing special. He can use sword and dagger instead, but he only picks up swords if he can find them in a lighter/stronger material than he can typically source.

ARMOR hooded scout armor

He has a set of Grey Warden Scout Armor from around 9:30-9:32 that he had modified over the years. The metal chest piece and pauldron have been changed and now both have a circular wolf symbol. The blue padding and leather has all faded and been re-dyed to a dark grey rather than blue.

GEAR camping pack

This includes a canvas to make a shelter, rope, a blanket, flint, a very small pot, and dried foods. When travelling with the ponies this kit includes a better shelter and food/blankets for the ponies.

GEAR armor repair kit

A few small tools to fix damaged rings in the chain of his armor and to sharpen his weapons.

GEAR lockpicks

These are kept with the armor repair kit where they can blend in.

DUSTY - mabari

A highly intelligent war dog and faithful companion. Depending on timeline, this may not be the first of their name, or even the second. If the first, they were blighted once and have more of a sense of darkspawn than most animals, the later Dustys would just be normal Mabari.

SNOWBALL - pony

A sure footed white mare who is Devyn's primary mount for travel. She is sweet tempered, but stubborn about going a certain way sometimes. (This is for the best since she keeps Devyn from getting as lost as he would otherwise.)

SOCKS - pony

A strong and bulky gelding who is Devyn's primary pack animal. He is Devyn's mount if needed for combat. He is a very calm animal, not easily spooked.
