Active Times/Pace:

- This means little. Sometimes I am active during the day, typically early evening, random times in the middle of the night
- When my brain is functional I will boomerang given half a chance but I neither need nor expect replies right away. Sometimes my brain is soup, though, and then replies can take longer.
Brackets/Prose: I can bounce off either. But by and large I prefer writing in prose. If you would have an easier time with another, let me know and I'll try to stick to that when writing with you!
Offensive Subjects & Triggers: Not really keen on playing off anything homophobic without discussing it in advance.

Visual: He is about 5' (if that), with a pale complexion, light ash blond hair, and blue grey eyes. His build is slim and he has no shortage of slash scars, likely some burn ones on his body as well. The most visible scars are slashes across his knuckles. His hair style early on was short and kept neat. Over the years it's leaned more into mullet that he cut himself with a dagger and it shows. When in armor he wears the DA2 Era scout armor. In the years after leaving the Wardens, it has been modified. The cloth/leather is now all dyed dark grey/black instead of blue and the Griffon device on the chest plate and pauldron have been replaced by a wolf.
Auditory: Loud. Not that he yells, just that his voice carries. The tone medium pitched and a bit coarse.
Olfactory: Look, he smells like leather, dirt, dog, sometimes sweat. He cleans well when he can, but doesn't always have access.
Other: Those who can sense the blight can pick it up from him much like many Grey Wardens. There's something off about it that isn't closer to Darkspawn exactly, but almost twisted.
Demeanor: He's confident, or at least seems it, and brash. He will rush into a situation. He may accidentally talk over someone when excited. He will start to raise his voice as he gets frustrated, annoyed, or excited.

In Character

Physical Affection: I don't mind, he might unless he knows the person well. If done by surpise, someone is probably getting stabbed or at least punched.
Physical Violence: His love language. But no, seriously, just try and stop him from fighting if it leads that direction.
Relationships: I'm not opposed if the dynamic leads that way. Probably only M/M for him, definitely no F/M. Any other relationships would be played by ear.
Injuries: General rule of thumb for me is: if it's something minor or major but that he can recover from quickly due to game mechanics, go for it, I don't even need warning. I need warning if I'm gonna have to deal with the consequences for a while though.
Death: Okay. This depends on game dynamics. But, never without us talking it out first. I will need to be in a good head space for this, even if there is a mechanic that can bring him back or I planned to exit the game.
Mind Reading/Manipulation: He has no immunity to blood magic, but is pretty strong willed, so, it really will depend what you have planned. I think this would just be easiest if discussed in advance.
Offensive Subjects and Triggers:

- Terms like Knife Ear, general belittling of elves, etc.
- Slavery in general.
- The Fifth Blight and the events at Amaranthine. He avoids talking about them, even with people who know who he is.
- Look, he's probably going to be touchy about Grey Wardens and taint overall, let's be real.

Out of Character

Backtagging: Absolutely okay. If you pick a thread back up that dropped off I will likely reply. If I haven't replied to a thread in a while and you want it back, just poke me.
Threadhopping: I mean if the other party is fine with it, I am GAME.
Fourthwalling: Maybe. As an aside if it fits your character? Basically know that I will completely ignore it IC, but it might earn an OOC chuckle.
Not interested in:
- Dark scenarios without at least a decent resolution

Opt-Out

Devyn has dealt with a lot of trauma over the years which can be a lot, including death, discrimination, and lingering illness. Additionally, I know that not everyone enjoys writing with fandom OCs or malleable protagonists, which I understand.

If you want to opt out for any reason just comment "Opt Out". If you have multiple characters, just let me know their journal names when you do.
